Govind D Panse is the Whole Time Director at Wilson Cables. He is responsible for charting out the company’s strategic direction and growth trajectory in tandem with the group’s overall future vision.

 

Mr. Panse has over four decades of experience in engineering and manufacturing, having rich exposure to all facets of running a plant efficiently. Having joined Wilson Cables in 1981 as an assistant engineer, he has grown through the ranks to achieve this leadership position through grit and performance. Having witnessed the evolution of Singapore’s cable industry for the past four decades, his wisdom has resulted in Wilson Cables foray into other South Asian geographies and launch of various innovative products. 

 

Mr. Panse has previously worked in reputed engineering firms like Larsen & Toubro and Tata Engineering in India. He has travelled extensively around the globe visiting leading cable manufacturing plants and bringing home the learnings and best practices for implementation in Wilson Cables; alongside, he has ensured that cable industry players adopt new age practices that has been part of the company’s product innovation journey.

 

A qualified engineer, Mr. Panse lives in Singapore with his family. An avid traveler, he often visits South East Asian countries like China, Taiwan and Europe in his sojourn to keep himself updated of global happenings.
