WSQ Implement Incident Management Processes (IIMP)

Through this program, our staff is trained on implementing management processes during an emergency incident in our process facilities. The training includes the approach, structure, tools, processes, and communication methods that can be utilised during an emergency incident.

WSQ Response to Fire Incident in Workplace

We prepare our CERT (Company Emergency Response System) members to be better equipped with the application skills required to effectively respond to a fire incident in the workplace.

Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Metal Work

Metal-working workers are required to go through the course before they start work. At the end of the programme, participants are able to:

  • Identify their own roles and responsibilities in metal working
  • Follow safe work procedures
  • Respond to fire emergencies

Forklift Diver Refresher Course – Forklift

This program helps our staff understand the rationale for the operational do’s and don’ts of operating a forklift as prescribed by the WSHE (Workplace Safety and Health Act). As a result, they are in a better position to make informed decisions when driving and operating forklifts.

WSQ Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan Course

This course is aimed at empowering our people through an understanding of Risk Management Processes such as:

  • Knowing the formation of the risk management team
  • Being familiar with risk identification, risk evaluation and risk control measures
  • Understanding risk communication and record-keeping
  • Developing a practical risk management implementation plan for the organisation.

Adult First Aid

This 3-day (21 hours) course covers a wide range of topics such as shock, wounds, bleeding, fractures, suffocation and unconsciousness. Our people are taught both theory and hands-on skills such as bleeding control, bandaging, abdominal/chest thrust of for choking, CPR (Cardiopulmonary resuscitation), along with several other techniques and skills. In addition, they are also trained on how to use the Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
